Performative Morphology & Material Performance

This project was submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for MArch : Graduate Architectural Design (GAD),The Bartlett (UCL) University College London Uk. It was furthered from my interest during the bachelor’s degree in bamboo fiber and shape development from nature.  A spider’s form was explored to find outstanding properties of its strong web.  Various experiments were conducted and mathematical rules were also applied to create forms.  In addition, flexible potential of different materials was tested in many processes to compare advantages and disadvantages which led to innovative forms.  It was useful to apply the potential of material fiber for the architecture which could change the future of modern architectural design.
